The single "Like The First Time" from the self-titled second album was added to the playlist on the American ClassX Radio a few months ago. Now the song has taken it's place in the top 10 on the rotations weekly list by finishing at number 10!

 The Giant Leap is still in the studio recording the upcoming album wich is going to be released in september (Finland). The first single "Beautiful Goodbye" tells a story about
addiction, going crazy and realizing all of that.

"Beautiful Goodbye was one of the first songs we wrote for this upcoming album and it kinda showed us the way of what to come. The band is very eager to take the next step forward, to turn the page and i think you can hear it on the album already even though there's lot to do still" says leadsinger Sebastian Rejman

In October of 2007 The Giant Leap released their debut album "Another Day Rising" in Finland. The band's been busy playing shows and doing promotion.

"The Giant Leap has been one of the most wanted live acts of the year 2008 in our agency. The band played in fourteen months nearly one hundred shows in clubs and festivals all around the country." Says Sami Siilin from Popgee Agency

All three singles of the album "All In My Head", "Somebody Else" and "Remember" got high rotation in Finnish radios.

New Album
The band is writing new material and starts recording the new album (working title "RADIO STATION") in the beginning of next year.

  "We've written songs now for a couple of months , and we're gonna continue writing. We wanted to do about 30 songs again, so that we can pick the best ones out and the ones that fit together." says lead singer Sebastian Rejman.

The Giant Leap will release the new album in the autumn of 2009 and the first single will be delivered to radios during the spring.
